We inform you that in 2022 June 01 VšĮ Abromiškių rehabilitation hospital signs a financing agreement with the Environmental Project Management Agency of the Ministry of the Environment of Lithuania regarding the financing of the project "Use of renewable energy resources (geothermal energy) in the Abromiškių rehabilitation hospital, replacing the written fuel of the Republic" under the Climate Change Program.
The goal of the project is to replace the fossil fuel (natural gas) used for the production of hot water and heat energy with renewable energy resources (geothermal energy). As the institution seeks to reduce the use of natural resources and use renewable energy sources - geothermal energy, it is planned to purchase a heat pump (soil-water) system for the production of hot water heat and energy for its own needs. At the same time, the institution will contribute to the mitigation of climate change and the reduction of CO2 emissions into the environment.
